VIRGIN MOJITO
Virgin Mojito is a classic and refreshing non-alcoholic drink made from mint leaves, lemon juice and sweetened to taste. This is made with only fresh mint and lime juice, is a great non-alcoholic mocktail that is also nicely sweetened and completed with bubbly club soda. Perfect for any time you don’t want or need alcohol in your beverage, including when pregnant. These are really addictive!
One of the finest ways to cool yourself on a scorching day, especially during Indian summers, is to drink a mojito. Fresh basil leaves are added to this mocktail version of the this Mojito to make it even more cold and refreshing. Fresh mint leaves can also be substituted. You won’t find a simpler recipe for a mojito mocktail than this one, which just requires a few things mixed together. Grab a Lemon Mojito right away!
Fresh mint leaves, lemon or lime juice, sugar, white rum, and club soda are always used to make an authentic mojito. In contrast, I made a virgin mojito recipe by leaving out the rum and using a little basil in place of the mint. And the mojito beverage was simply amazing. Basil’s peppery, pungent flavor blends wonderfully with the lemon’s acidic, lemony undertones. This Mojito Mocktail recipe’s winning flavor combination combines lemon and basil.
