VEG FRIED RICE
Veg fried rice is the ultimate Chinese comfort food . It is widely used in East, Southeast, and South Asian cuisines and has been around for a very long time. The recipe was initially created as a method to use up leftover fried rice that was still perfectly delicious despite having dried out a bit and being less than stellar on its own. Rice is spruced up for a tasty supper with the addition of oil, soy sauce, vegetables. We prepared our version of Chinese fried rice in a cast iron skillet because they are more typical in household kitchens rather than the traditional wok over high heat. The ideal lunch or dinner may be made with this simple variation on a classic.
This recipe is excellent for meal preparation. Prepare vegetables the day before. It’s also crucial to remember that some of the best fried rice is prepared with rice that is a day old. Make your rice at least a day or two in advance.
