Keema is a popular Indian dish made from lamb or goat meat. Delicious meat dish known as keema is made with minced mutton, green peas, onions, tomatoes, cloves, cinnamon, and other powdered spices. It’s usually cooked with spices like cumin, coriander, turmeric, ginger, garlic, green chillies, and garam masala. It’s always got to be something very spicy, flavorful and mouth-watering; Mutton has its taste which blends all the spices and flavour in the gravy. Whenever we cook Mutton, we prefer it to be a bit spicy as it goes well with the meaty flavour and the fats it extracts. I also prefer adding some extra mutton fats (soft) while cooking Mutton as it enhances the gravy’s taste and makes it very tasty and flavorful.
A few spices that are readily available at home are also added to the chopped onions and tomatoes used to make this keema dish. The fact that the keema curry is pressure cooked may simplify our task.
It tastes nice to use fresh red meat for the minced meat or keema, thus selecting a high-quality keema is crucial.
This recipe can also be used to produce chicken keema, and the procedure to make the keema using boneless chicken is the same. With Indian flatbreads like roti, chapati, or parotta, these keema recipes can always be prepared as morning breakfast curries.
